To solve today’s most complex problems in our communities, our cities, our states, our nations, and globally, we must build coalitions of leaders willing to confront these challenges, together. The work is complex as there are no effective cookie-cutter approaches. Working in these realms is where I thrive. My energy and experiences are aligned in my commitment to delivering substantial impacts to our society's most critical challenges, such as city and regional resilience to all hazards threats, our nation's opioid crisis, racial injustice within our systems, climate change, and the global impacts of extreme heat. What inspires me daily is the opportunity to work on these “missions that matter” alongside a team who share a passion for high-impact work. To recharge and keep myself energized, I maintain a steady routine of gym workouts and an abundance of outdoor activities with my wife and our full family of kids, ranging from teens to young adults. And my calendar is always booked for Baltimore Ravens and Terps games. My formal education includes graduation from Harvard Business School’s General Management Program, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland.
